Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Advisor will coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with employment legislation and school policies. The role offers a diverse portfolio, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. A full outline of the responsibilities is in the Position Description.
The successful applicant will show experience and understanding of the following areas:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms or the ability to quickly learn new systems (experience with ELMO and/or Definitiv is desirable).
- Sound understanding of employment legislation and industrial instruments (such as Enterprise Agreements), or a demonstrated capacity to develop this knowledge.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or related field, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
